Rick Blake, President and Founder of Edgewater Automation, set out to establish a company that would provide quality assembly and test equipment to meet the growing needs of the industry while also meeting the specific needs of his employees.

With help from the Manders Group, the State of Michigan, and the local government, Edgewater Automation begins operation in St. Joseph, MI.
2004
24,000 sq ft is added to our Headquarters in St Joseph, MI.

15,000 sq ft is added to our Headquarters in St Joseph, MI.
2012
A new 10,000 sq ft facility is added in St Joseph, MI to house Edgewater Development.
2013
5,000 sq ft is added to our Headquarters in St Joseph, MI.
2014
A new 45,000 sq ft facility with complete capabilities is added in Spartanburg, SC.
2014
A new 44,000 sq ft facility is added in Buchanan, MI for the new Edgewater Manufacturing Division.
2018
45,000 sq ft of space is added in Buchanan, MI to build large-scale automation systems.
